Innovative diesel-direct electric drive concept - impressive performance with the best possible consumption values

The crushers of the EVO line have an innovative “diesel-direct electric” drive concept and are powerful and economical at the same time.

An efficient and powerful diesel engine drives the crusher directly via a fluid coupling. The drive technology thus impresses with extremely low efficiency losses and maximum output directly at the crusher.

All secondary drives – for example, for prescreen, vibrating chutes and conveyor belts – are driven electrically. The fluid coupling guarantees high operational safety – for operator and machine.

Continuous Feed System (CFS)

Uniform loading is indispensable for a good product, optimum throughput and low wear.

To ensure that the crushing chamber is always evenly filled, the Continuous Feed System (CFS) monitors the crusher level (jaw crusher and cone crusher) or the load at the rocker and rotor as well as the motor utilisation (impact crusher).

Independently of this, the CFS regulates the frequency of the vibrating feeder and prescreen. A backlog on the prescreen is thus avoided and crusher utilisation is optimised. When the crushing chamber is free again after overloading, material transport is continued without a delay.

The CFS facilitates the work of the operator because the machine automatically guarantees a homogeneous material flow, thus ensuring optimum loading of the crusher.

 

Intuitive control concept SPECTIVE - for simple operation

The easy-to-operate control concept SPECTIVE allows the machines to be operated at a touch panel. All components and functions can be controlled comfortably from the ground.

SPECTIVE guides the operator step by step through the starting procedure. The start screen provides a graphical view of the plant with all adjustable functions at a glance. When the desired function is selected, clear instructions guide users through all operating steps. If a fault occurs, a fault diagnosis appears on the display. Fault localisation, the description and remedy tips result in reduced downtimes. The 12″ touch panel is resistant to dust and always easy to read thanks to the light intensity and high contrast. It reacts to fingers, pen or gloves.

Range of paving applications

Thanks to the wide range of paving widths from 0.25 m to 1.8 m, the MINI paver is suitable for a variety of paving tasks such as paving between tracks or in milled tracks. This makes it possible to lay asphalt by machine on the smallest of surfaces.

Undercarriage

The crawler undercarriage ensures optimum traction on loose ground. Thanks to its extreme maneuverability, the MINI 500 can maneuver in the smallest of spaces.

Operating concept

The operator has everything in view from the operator’s station directly behind the screed. This means that one person is often sufficient for operation. The functions of the switches are indicated by clear symbols in a language-neutral approach. As the symbols are identical to the operating concept, ErgoBasic the changeover is particularly easy for experienced operators of VÖGELE machines. But even inexperienced operators will soon find their way around the clearly-arranged operator’s console. Two additional screed remote controls are available for larger working widths.

    The MINI pavers are equipped with the AB 135 V extending screed, which can be hydraulically extended from 0.8 m to 1.35 m in width. A maximum working width of 1.8 m can be achieved with two widening sections.

Drive technology
  • A water-cooled two-cylinder diesel engine with an output of just 10.2 kW is sufficient to reliably drive all hydraulic units. The economical engine can run for an entire working day on a 16-liter tank.
Material management
  • The material hopper is fed from the side by a wheel loader or a compact loader. The large material hopper holds up to 1.2 tons of mix. The powerful scraping conveyor made of wear-resistant steel conveys the mix to the spreading augers. The two independently controllable spreading augers ensure a uniform material feed.

  • The low weight of less than 1.5 tons and the compact transportation dimensions enable problem-free and cost-effective transportation.
